Do you think she is trying to tell us something? This reminds me of the time in highschool when I kept complaining that our house was too cold and my dad kept telling me to put on more clothes. So I put on all my snow gear - hat, snow pants, gloves, scarf, snow coat, etc and plopped down in the living room to watch television. Thinking I had smartly proved my point, my dad only walked by and said something like, "There you go." Not quite what I was looking for.

Those pancakes look gooo-oooo-oood! Dont tell me what they are actually made out of, just let me think they are full of sugar and the bad stuff. :)
Well, those pancakes were actually full of salt because Mike accidentaly misremembered the recipe. Joseph has been walking around for days saying, "Wawee? Wawee?" :)
ooops...we have had a few "salt" accidents around here during cooking also. Lisa about killed Madeleine with some soup onetime.
Well the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I remember a Christmas not long ago where Jeremy looked alot like that on Christmas morning. I think we all shamed,or whined, depending on who you ask, them into turning the heat up above 59, so we could enjoy our coffee before it froze in our cup.
Ok, i get the message. Just for a little something extra, we will turn up the heat this Christmas. But, you won't have anything to talk about on the blog next year. Mom
And, Mandy, you didn't think we had any traditions !
At the risk of sounding like a suck-up, my memories so far have been of a warm McDonald house around Christmas.

Hey Mike:
You are used to cold weather so you probably didn't notice the cold house. We are looking forward to a great Christmas with you guys this year. sammye
What was the tradition? Coffeesicles?
The tradition was everyone around the yule log with their coats and scarfs on.
No matter how cold the house is, we have the love of Christ to warm our spirt, and that is all the really matters. I'm looking forward to seeing all of you.
Love Aunt Sleesa
